Spring Hours of Operation

We are sure many of you already know that we have been actively looking for a new Head Chef and strong kitchen staff to help complete our changes to the menu and the Inn. Heck, many of you have helped us by giving us ideas and names. And for that, we give you all a big “Thank You.” As of this moment, we do not have anything set in stone, but anticipate being able to be re-tooled and ready with a new kitchen staff and menu soon! We will have a completely different menu with new prices and we have a lot of ideas for this Summer season and we really are anxious to get started.

In the meantime, however, the Restaurant and Tavern will be closed for a few weeks and we do hope that you will be patient with us while we finalize our staffing and make sure that we are doing everything “right.” We hope to have some great news on our staff very soon and to be able to announce the date that we will be open and ready to again serve all of you. Hopefully, this will not take much longer, so get ready to come on down and celebrate the “2012 re-opening of the re-open” at the Hidden Inn! We will keep everyone posted here and on our Facebook page!

The Hidden Inn is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays

Wednesday through Sunday – Open at 4:00 pm, dinner served from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm, regular and tavern menu.

Saturday and Sunday – Saturday dinner served from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm, tavern menu until 10:00 pm. Sunday dinner served from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm, tavern menu until 9:00 pm.

Artist’s Reception – Jan. 21 Open to the Public

Join us at the Hidden Inn for complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres and meet Manhattan and Roxbury artist Chris Durham and see his works exhibited in the Gold Room at the Hidden Inn.

About the Artist

Christopher Durham was born in Hopewell, Virginia. Raised on a small farm, he developed three loves early on: animals, acting and art. Upon graduating from the College of William and Mary, he moved to New York City to pursue his acting career and has successfully worked ever since. His most notable appearances have included roles on “Pan Am,” “Body of Proof,” “Rescue Me,” ”Third Watch,” ”Law and Order,” “Law and Order Criminal Intent,” “Law and Order SVU,” and “Gossip Girl” among many others. From hosting a game show on The Food Network to anchoring “The Onion”, he has also enjoyed long stints as spokesman for national ad campaigns and producer/host on The Hallmark Channel.

His other passions have received equal professional attention. His love of animals led him to become a NYC Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator in 1998, which allows him to aid injured and orphaned fauna in the wilds of Manhattan and environs. He divides his time between there and his Catskills farmhouse.

In 1994, he celebrated his first gallery exhibition at CFM Gallery in SoHo. Although he works mostly in pen/ink and watercolor, he has also been recently experimenting with acrylics to considerable acclaim and success. He has been featured in the famed windows of Van Clef and Arpels jewelers in New York City as well as Elle Décor, M, and Victoria magazines and The New York Times.

Like another Catskills arts denizen, John Burroughs, Christopher considers himself a naturalist in all his pursuits.

We are very excited to hold this event at the Inn, which is free and open to the public, and look forward to everyone in the community joining us for this great evening celebrating a local artist.

Celebrate the New Year with our four course meal of a salad and choice of appetizer, entree, and dessert for $40.00 per person.

Dinner seating is from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm.

Starting at 9:00 pm the countdown to Midnight will begin with $1.50 Draft Beers, $3.00 Specialty Cocktails, A Free Champagne Toast at Midnight, plus music, party favors, and good times aplenty.

Reservations strongly suggested.
