The Hidden Inn has dedicated the entire second floor of the building to accommodating overnight guests. Many a weary traveler has rested at the Hidden Inn over the last century as the property was built in 1893 and was operated as the Ryer’s Hotel. With the exception of a few stints as private residences and a place for the employees of Sheffield Farms Creamery, the Hidden Inn has always had room for a traveler in need.
Beginning in July, 2012, the second floor of the Hidden Inn will offer 4, en-suite guest rooms and several common areas that are decorated with comfortable and inviting antiques, many of which discovered in the homes and barns in the area.
We will offer the four rooms individually and also encourage the rental of the entire second floor for larger groups. The Catskill Scenic Trail, a 26.5 mile trail that offers a hard-packed surface that makes it perfect for hiking, biking, horseback riding and cross country skiing, is just steps out the door of the Hidden Inn and provides an easy and enjoyable journey through some of the prettiest countryside in the world. In the winter, the snowmobile trail maintained by the Central Catskill Trail Association is just out the back door of the Hidden Inn and is perfect for sledding, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.
No matter what the reason for your visit to the area, or the season, the Hidden Inn welcomes you to stay with us.
